Interior design consultation.
With 15 years experience in this incredible industry, a RMIT interior design and decoration diploma and a Swinburne Bachelor of Design under my belt you can be certain I want only the best for your project and your family. I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of drafting, designing and specifying for my clients, why not set up a call to discuss your future home goals.
Add colour to your bathroom.
As an interior designer, I understand my clients desire to have a timeless and neutral space. However adding your own personality and flair to the spaces will ultimately bring more joy, creating an enduring interior. In our bathroom, we choose to paint all of the plasterboard and timber in a deep green. The design was completed prior to us moving in 5 years ago and the square tiles whilst neutral worked with the overall mid century aesthetic so we opted to retain these. I have styled the room with artwork, pants and candles so it is relaxing and unique.
Interior design materials palette.
I simply adore this image taken by my photographer, Tizia May Commercial. The materials sing and create such drama, can you imagine all of these colour and textures in your home? Call me today to discover the possibilities and chat about your upcoming interiors project.
Home studio.
Designing spaces that enable memories and enhance emotions through a love for collaborating with clients. The intent is to create a beautiful space tailored to you and your brief, specifying the very best of local and international design. From the outset, ensuring an easy going and honest approach.
Bedroom chair nook.
With a view to the park below, this space in the primary bedroom is a great space to contemplate or read. Colour choices are a mix of warm and cool in order to not feel contrived or uninviting.
Mid century house design.
When we found our MCM home in Melbourne, we knew we wanted to retain the existing cedar timber clad wall lining. With so many MCM homes being bulldozed or white washed it is refreshing to embrace the original material palette from the 1960's.

Home studio design.
The JRID home studio, this is where all of your projects come to life, I work towards creating your perfect forever home on my computers using CAD, often taking them to coloured 3D renders to truly explore the spaces and explain the direction. Next I would source materials and finishes for your project. It's such a wonderful career and very rewarding.

Adding colour to our girls bedroom was high on the priority list, opting for Supertuft Escape Velour Lotti for that gorgeous burgundy rouge. Customising the bedhead, pendant light and customs meant we are able to truly embrace our daughters energy and make it her own space.
At home with Jenni Robin
Sharing my home, captured perfectly by Tizia May Photography. Our home in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne was a 1968 Sibbel Builders construction. We love the mid century style and what it offers us as custodians.
