Melbourne, Australia... check! Melbourne is a city full of culture. I enjoyed walking around its various neighborhoods, enjoying their chocolate cafes, one-of-a-kind shops, and even worked out at the futuristic Virgin Fitness Gym (Virgin Records)! You must spend some quality time in Melbourne if you travel to Australia.

Being from the non-tram city of Brisbane, I remember my excitement at seeing a real-life tram plodding along the Melbourne streets, much like the one above (that’s Flinders Street Station in the background). The trusty tram is well and truly a part of Melbourne; since beginning operations in 1885, the tram network has become a major source of public transport. Word of warning if you are planning to drive in Melbourne: learn how to do a hook turn!
Let's start with our local, Miss Jackson. This cafe is sensational with its minimalist layout and beautiful deck, just perfect for a sunny afternoon. The staff are friendly and know their stuff. The food is delish and coffee sublime! My favourite dish - the Chicken Piadina- reminds me of my travels in Greece!!! Mmmmm. Address: 2/19 Grey Street. St Kilda
