Does life seem harder for you to manage than it is for others?
Can’t get it together no matter how hard you try? Executive functioning issues can be the reason why life is a struggle, why things that seem so easy for others feel impossible for you. The “usual” way of goal setting, organising and getting tasks done may not work for you. There are so many strategies that can help but the first and most important thing is to recognise that you are not a failure. Not being able to do things easily the way others do, does not mean you are wrong or deficient, or lack willpower or discipline. Your brain just works in a different way.
