It is ok to not do your best. Sometimes just showing up is your best, and that's OK. The constant pressure to excel, and be productive doesn't serve us. You don't have to prove your worth - you are worthy no matter what.
Does life seem harder for you to manage than it is for others?
Can’t get it together no matter how hard you try? Executive functioning issues can be the reason why life is a struggle, why things that seem so easy for others feel impossible for you. The “usual” way of goal setting, organising and getting tasks done may not work for you. There are so many strategies that can help but the first and most important thing is to recognise that you are not a failure. Not being able to do things easily the way others do, does not mean you are wrong or deficient, or lack willpower or discipline. Your brain just works in a different way.
Different doesn't mean wrong
If your life doesn't look like everyone elses appears, it doesn't mean you are wrong or less than. Struggling parents, this absolutely applies to you.

You are not lazy or undisciplined or a failure. If your house is messy, everything is unorganised and your life is beyond a hot mess of chaos, you need support NOT judgement.
