Fishing by the Swan Brewery distillery, Mounts Bay Road, Perth. The brewery opened in 1837. It has since been redeveloped. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swan_Brewery Apparently the fishermen are from the old men's depot across the road at the foot of Mount Eliza (upon which Kings Park was established). The depot was basically a poor house.

In 1992 Joe Scaffidi, Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi’s husband, demolished part of the hotel facade and became the first person to be prosecuted under the Heritage Act. He was ordered to rebuild the facade
