♥ Willie Wagtail ~ Rhipidura leucophrys

Willie Wagtail Rhipidura leucophrys +==========================+ Going back in time a bit, but this is the bird that got me interested in photography of birds. The challenge: To keep detail in the light and dark areas.

willie wagtail and it's fantail

Rhipidura leucophrys - Willie Wagtail: member of the 'fantail' genus & part of a 'core corvine' group that includes true crows & ravens, drongos & birds-of-paradise

Willy Wagtail - Very chirpy and excited, Willy can be seen right across the Inner North.

Willy Wagtail - The cheekiest and bravest of my birdie visitors - they will confront birds many times their own size to protect nest, eggs and chicks.
