This is Seton Lake in British Columbia Canada. We had visited and spent a night in Whistler, and when we continued our roadtrip to Wells Gray National Park, we had a stop on route BC-99 and saw this beautiful lake. An authentic groceries store

In 2011, we were on a roadtrip in East-Canada, on our way to Parc des Chutes de Sainte-Ursule. Our GPS suddenly took us offroad, through the fields and because of that, we passed through a small town called Maskinongé. Nothing much to see there but one building immediately had our attention : Magasin général Le Brun de Maskinongé. Magasin général Le Brun de Maskinongé is a store and also a very unique museum. The store is in fact a combination of 3 general stores established at different…

Peak2Peak

I took these photos while on the Peak2Peak gondola ride in Whistler. Whistler is located in the spectacular coast mountains of British Columbia just two hours north of Vancouver. It's a very popular destination during the winter season for skiing and snowboarding, but also during the summer for summer activities such as mountainbiking and golf. Initially, we didn't plan to take the Peak2Peak gondola ride but the guy at the desk in our hotel strongly recommended it. It was a very nice ride…

Fishing boats

Lac à l'eau Claire offers many water activities such as trout fishing. This is one of the ten trout fishing lakes near l'Auberge du Lac-à-l’Eau-Claire. The trout fishing season in this area is from May 1st to late September. Lac à l'Eau Claire is the French name, in English it's the Clearwater Lakes, and is located near the Hudson bay in Quebec Canada. The water is so clear, that is why the lake is named Clearwater Lakes. Wherever you are, you can just look straight through to the bottom of…

Medicine Lake

Medicine Lake is located in Jasper National Park, Alberta, and it is part of the Maligne Valley watershed which is mainly glacial fed. Medicine Lake is approximately 7 km (4.3 mi) long and is a relatively shallow lake. Because medicine lake is not an actual lake but more of an area in which the Maligne River flows, the lake "dissapears" during the winter, turning into a meandering frozen river. In the 1970s, researchers used a biodegradable dye to determine the underground river's extent…

View on the city

This is a view on Quebec city taken from the beginning of the Promenade des Gouverneurs. The start of the Promenade des Gouverneurs is at the end of Parc plaines d'Abraham, site of the battle in which the British took Quebec from France, and the Citadelle of Quebec. The walk goes all the way up to Terrasse Dufferin, near the Château Frontenac. The promenade is a walkway along the edge of the cliff, offering beautiful views of the Saint Lawrence River. It is a very nice walk offering many…
