I found this idea on Pinterest. Put dice inside mini containers to help with "flying dice" control. I love this idea especially this year because I have some boys who sometimes forget how to keep the dice in their area!

Simple solution to all your dice problems! Stick two dice in a small tupperware container. Have the children shake the container and look at the dice. No "throwing" dice or losing them either. I will probably use foam dice as they are noiseless.

Make it rain jar It shows children the three forms of matter: liquid, gas, and solids

Make it RAIN! Hot water in the jar, cold front "clouds" on top.it rains in the jar. Go to Crystal's weather site for Water Cycle experiment (no photo).

Spelling Pin "Kinesthetic Words" some fine sand into a pencil box and give students an un-sharpened pencil. They can trace spelling words the sand! And the pencil box keeps the sand neat and tidy!

Read It, Build It, Write It

This is a great center activity for younger students to help them with their spelling, sight words, motor skills, and handwriting. I would use this as an activity center and have students work on sight words and/or spelling words.
