This contains: A video of a flat unfired ceramic piece, around 20cm across, hand painted with an underglaze wash. Parts of The colour is then sgraffito (scratched into) in feather shapes and lines. Black line work is then painted over the rest of the colour, in the shape of a divided in half feather or leaf.

Some new feather and seaweed wall art pieces, now in my online shop :) They are influenced by the colours textures and patterns of seaweeds and pieces of coral and sponges that are washed up on the beach and tangle with feathers and other beach debris. They are each hand painted using ceramic underglazes, and high fired on a bright white porcelain base. There is a simple wire at the back to hangthe piece on the wall.
