Council maintains more than 800 parks, foreshore areas and sporting fields, which are mowed on a rotational basis. We mow grass in non-residential areas along the roadside, verges and in drainage reserves.
Lake Macquarie City Council and the Pelican Area Sustainable Neighbourhood Group held a bus tour on the morning of the February King Tide to see what sea level rise could look like, and to visualise future impacts so we can start preparing for the future.
