Dhal is a stew-like vegetarian dish made with pulses. ‘Dhal’ and ‘Roti’ sounds familiar? It is an everyday meal and acceptable to all whether nationally or internationally. Much of its fantastic aroma comes from the finishing touches, the seasoning or tadka, which is made up of a few unique spices tempered in hot oil, which is then poured over the cooked dhal to bring the dish alive.
