Rowan of Rin display- we are adding information to the middle as we read the text and it's great fun- some students had inspiration when they were at home that the brought in! The heads around the outside are are inference heads that lift up to reveal text- see my other pin.
Character inference heads. We read a part of our class novel. Students then had to rewrite it in the first person from Rowan (the main character's) perspective. This piece of text is revealed inside Rowan's head when it is lifted. Underneath they wrote their own reflection about why they made some if their writing choices. I'll follow up this exercise at the end of the term once the book is complete. (Rowan of Rin by Emily Rodda)
