Is your hair dull and dingy? Maybe you have a build up of shampoo, spray, mousse, and other products in your hair. Mix a teaspoon of baking soda in with your shampoo the next time you wash your hair. The soda will remove any build up and leave your hair soft.
Oogenesis is a monthly event that produces haploid egg by meiosis. Embryonic development of ovary occurs and by puberty 400,000 oocytes remain. FSH stimulates completion of meiosis I, which produces secondary oocyte and 1st polar body, then proceeds to meiosis II and ceases until fertilization, and then after fertilization a 2nd polar body is released.
The sexual cycle averages at 28 days, and ranges from 20-45. The hormone cycle is known as the hierarchy of control, which contains the hypothalamus, the pituitary, the ovaries, and the uterus. The follicular phase (2 weeks) is when menstruation occurs during the first 3 to 5 days of the cycle. The uterus replaces lost endometrium and the follicles grow. The luteal phase (2 weeks) is when the corpus luteum stimulates endometrial thickening and the endometrium is lost without pregnancy.
The Ovary contains two ligaments, the ovarian and suspensory ligament. The suspensory ligament contains ovarian artery, vein and nerves. The ovary produces eggs and hormones, and includes the tunica albuginea, the cortex (produces gametes), and the medulla (holds vessels). Also, there is a fluid-filled follicle in the ovary, and ovulation is when a mature egg is released from the ovary.
