Sydney-born BEN QUILTY won the 2011 Archibald Prize for his portrait of fellow artist Margaret Olley, the matriarch of Australian painting.

Portrait of Australian actor Heath Ledger in December just weeks before Ledger died in New York in January by Vincent Fantauzzo, RMIT University Master of Fine Art graduate. Vincent was awarded the 2008 Archibald prize for his work.
