I love flying women and the freedom of serenely floating along above the worries of the world, seeing beauty below.
Planets, acrylic on canvas. Colourful worlds.
White Lighthouse. I adore lighthouses and seek them out when travelling.
Who is Next? I was thinking of fairground ducks gliding past, and shooters, and how endangered animals are easy targets for predators.
This acrylic on canvas painting is called Ghost Riders in the Sky, inspired by the Johny Cash version of the song.
Playing at the Silos.. when I was a little girl we lived in Hopetoun, in the Mallee, and that's what I did, play at the silos. I felt I could almost lean on the wind.
The Urban Beekeeper. I'm fascinated by urban beekeepers, tending their hives on top of tall city buildings. In Melbourne you can buy Brunswick honey, St Kilda honey etc.
Another flying woman, this one is called Flying Bride, inspired by paintings of Arthur Boyd.
I called this painting Flying Red Woman. I really love painting flying women. They look so free up there.
I am Sailing is the name of this acrylic on canvas. I had fun creating this one.
