Designed by architect Will Crooker, as affordable housing in post Katrina New Orleans

The Alligator House in New Orleans is a post-Katrina shotgun house (due to a narrow lot all the rooms & cross ventilation align from front to back).

Designed as a writer's retreat in Maine, it is positioned to catch most of the day's sun, and the log storage seen acts as extra insultion ofr the dwelling.
