Taking a little time out to be creative is sometimes outside of my capacity to do so. So I like to have a few little projects I can stop and start at any time. Ones that don't really required big amounts of consistent time focused on them. This is where I have found slow stitching - embroidering mandalas to be quite therapeutic. It is capturing your thoughts one stitch at a time. What creative things do you engage in when you are outside your capacity to do so?

I have to say that weaving is really starting to capture my heart. I love the freedom and the play to create tight weaves and contrasting fluffy texture. 🥰 That and it's the perfect creative expression where it's okay if I get interrupted by the little terrors that are my children.
