These designs not only have a striking appearance but also a unique history which created a lasting impact and longevity in the eyes of the public.

Celebrating 75 Years of Eames' LCW
Designers Charles and Ray Eames established their long and legendary relationship with Herman Miller in 1946 with their boldly original moulded plywood chairs. Celebrating the best design of the twentieth century, the Eames LCW Plywood Chair. Few chairs have had the success and longevity that have followed the LCW (Lounge Chair Wood) Plywood Chair. Designed by husband-and-wife duo Charles and Ray Eames in 1946, the LCW by Herman Miller, has been in production ever since. Nominated by Time magazine as ‘The Chair of the 20th Century’, the LCW came after years of research, with the couple originally conceiving the design as one continuous plywood form.

Colour your Word with Vitra
Colour your World with Vitra furnitura. Vitra works with independent “authors” – primarily with designers, but also with architects and graphic artists. What distinguishes the work of these people from that of other designers is the fact that their personal imprint and outlook is reflected in every one of their products. In short, they are spectacular individual works. We hope our below edit inspires you to break with tradition and add creativity to your home.
