Once most famed for its bohemian lifestyle, the Byron Bay of today is re-establishing itself as a boutique resort town. Alongside its stunning coastline, the region is now often most recognised for its rising number of design-savvy accommodation – unique boutique hotels that are helping to redefine the beach shack and reinvigorate the surf town. Scone Farmhouse. This traditional Australian farmhouse is located on a horse stud in the Hunter Valley. Although brand new, it appears to have been there for many years and reflects an Australian country style and way of life, opening to the amazing landscape via French doors onto large verandahs on two sides of the building.
