How I paint an elephant in watercolour.
I'm often asked how I obtain depth and life in my character illustrations. It's all about the layers. In this short video painting an elephant from my children's book, 'Bev and Kev', I show how I begin with Lavender and then work in Quinacradone Sienna and Ultramarine Blue - mixing blues with oranges will give you greys with life. www.mandyfoot.com
