Αθήνα (Athens) Named after a goddess, Athens has given the world a lot to be thankful for, most of all democracy but let’s not forget the wonders of the Olympic Games and the splendour of the Parthenon! The past and present of Athens coexists in a strange yet beautiful harmony and ancient ruins sit amongst the busy modern streets as quiet testaments to the cities rich history. Constant love for Athens!
