The Ghan .... The 3000km trip between Darwin and Adelaide provides glimpses of Australia's unique landscape and wildlife. I travelled on the Ghan between Adelaide and Alice Springs in 1982. Despite travelling through desert, a flood isolated us for several days. A wonderful, once in a lifetime, experience.
