A Morris Minor customer of ours came to buy some parts of us at the David Manners Group earlier and couldn’t resist showing us his new engine. John buys all his parts from us, and we have seen the speed he gets to when leaving our car park and we recommend you challenge him at your own peril! His black Morris Minor was also featured in Morris Minor Magazine on the front cover. Since then, we have helped him rebuild his Morris Minor even further. http://www.jagspares.co.uk/Morris/company.asp
This rocket stove is for a greenhouse. Rocket stove will burn outside air. Burning inside air and exhausting it causes cold outside air to come in to replace the exhausted air. Lighting: small pile of DRY wood varying in size from minute twigs to 1/2 inch splinters (kindling). Fill bottom of the fire box with crumpled paper/cardboard. Light, blow hard toward the J tube. After flames steadily head that direction, drop mixed size kindling in. The draft is better with cold air.
I built it, starting from an old tank, it works well, with a very high efficiency, but has the disadvantage of a lack of autonomy, like all rocket stoves, you can not add large pieces of wood. Next I will put a series of rings to hold the wood and let it gravity-feed into the combustion chamber. #Rocket #Stove
