Emu's, I try and try to get decent photo's of them as we drive along but inevitably fail. We have seen them from Nyngan to Cobar, Cobar to Bourke, Bourke to south Western Queensland. Most in Queensland though.

McKinlay Shire Council wanted an innovative solution for their Kynuna Road directing travellers toward the famous Barramundi fishing haunts of the Gulf of Carpentaria. Kynuna Road was the shortest route but only partially sealed.
Morning Glory Clouds in Australia. Bourketown, on the Gulf of Carpentaria. This cloud formation occurs for just a couple of weeks in Sept/Oct, depending on conditions. A mecca for gliders and cloud appreciators alike.
