I totally overworked the first piece as soon as I started incorporating acrylics. Tried to save it but after a day of frustration it ended up in the special ‘filing cabinet!’ Even seasoned artist’s get things wrong! This Moon Oracle Artwork is on A4 watercolour paper. The mediums used include watercolour, gauche, coloured pencils, posca markers for some highlights and details and a sprinkle of gold leaf pen. Bird Collage
I resisted doing this tutorial but I already had a bunch of collage papers to play with from last year. Even though I was reluctant I’m glad I did it. Sometimes ‘just playing’ is exactly what I need. I know it might look like I’m playing all the time, but most times I have an expectation of what I’d like to create. Between you and me, I have become a bit of a perfectionist.
