Indigenous leader, Janice Walker, is changing this. Janice’s playgroup in North Queensland is moving children in to school. Planned learning– improving basic learning, listening skills and fine motor skills – is making a difference for both kids and parents. Non-indigenous families also attend, and learn about Indigenous culture through Janice’s lessons. The playgroup is unifying the community.
