Challenger 2 TES The TES(H) or Threat Entry Standard is a system similar to M1 Abrams TUSK system and is designed to better protect tanks in urban environments. It was developed from the original ERA system first used on Challenger 1s in the 1991 gulf war and latter added to challenger 2s for the invasion of Iraq in 2003. The TES(H) system was developed to better protect against tandem warheads and IED threats.

For the 100mm AAPMP-100, there are 2 known variation in the conversion while the 122mm AAP-T-122 have at least 5 different variation when they were converted. The first version is fitted with D-20 122mm Field artillery while the second version mount the 100mm KS-19 Air defense gun. Both are designated as 122mm AAP-T-122 and 100mm AAPMP-100 respectively.
