It doesn't matter what you meant to say, what matters is what you said. The meanings words are can easily be weapons, or turned into a caress just by opening a fist. Too often we forget a wound made by words cuts deeper than flesh is, but goes to the very heart of whom someone is, and scars us there as well. It is not for me to tell you what to feel. Say what is on your mind, how you feel is always valid. Only remember that something once put into words and spoken can never be unsaid.
