What are age appropriate tasks kids can do in the kitchen?  Meal planning - I ask what meals my sons would like to eat this week. Getting the ingredients out of the pantry and fridge. Chopping soft veggies. Putting food in containers/bowls. Putting food in the food processor. Serve breakfast - Eg. putting cereal in bowl and milk buttering toast. When a client your seeing discloses she has a problem with alcohol and you're the only health professional that knows.  This is a typical type of situation I encounter.   Providing weight-inclusive care in my work has allowed clients to feel comfortable enough to have the hard conversations which are often a big part of why they are seeking assistance.   Weight shaming shuts people down and leads to them avoiding appropriate health care.  Read the post here at http://ift.tt/2w4GJp0
