Greens Beach is at the head of the Tamar River near Launceston and opposite Low Head and George Town on the other shore. It is a favourite 'locals' holiday spot with good swimming. It is a great trekking point to study the ever-changing blues of the waters of Bass Strait and it's just a 5 min drive to Narawntapu National Park & walking trails. Image credit: Matt Lockhart
