Melbourne's great eyesore, demolishing the 1960s Gas and Fuel Corporation buildings which obstructed a vista of heritage buildings along Flinders Street including St Paul's Cathedral to make way for Federation Square.

Block Arcade, Collins Street – Mark Strizic , 1967 Still looks much the same. Arcades (& lanes) are wonderful in Melbourne city and help make the city different to the other capitals in Australia. The Hopetoun tea rooms are still in operation.
