The girls in my classes can make anything they chose. It could be one of my quilts, their own design or a pattern that they’ve purchased. My role is to help them work out the pattern and guide them in the choice of fabrics and techniques. A few years ago one of the girls fell in love with a quilt that she’d seen at a quilt show and she asked me to help her make it in class. This is Eileen's Quilt.
Last week, one of our local churches, St Brigid’s, celebrated 120 years and I had the honour of being asked to applique two cloths for their special day. The inspiration, artwork and design were created by two talented members of the church, Margaret and Alan.
