Went with pink for the ornament to create a fun contrast with the blue/green pine branches, and I love how it came out. @industriamaimeri watercolor paint in Rose Lake is FLAWLESS I used white gouache for a snowy pine effect. Gouache makes for much more of a pop when it comes to layering because of its thicker texture. I added some gold splatter (by gently tapping my paint brush) in the corner to balance out the negative space. To create DIY pressed flower candles, start by pressing flowers between heavy books for a few days. Once flattened, arrange them on a clean, heat-resistant surface around a plain candle. Secure the flowers in place with transparent glue or wax, then gently pour melted wax over the arrangement, allowing it to cool and solidify. Trim excess wick for a finished look.🕯🌸🫧💗
