An indie film about a young couple from Chicago who goes home to NC to visit the husbands family after visiting a local artist for the wife's art gallery. Drama ensues as the family tries to adjust to the new family member and vice versa. It's kind of slow in more than one way. If it wasn't for Amy Adams role as the lovable Ashley, it would have been even more of a mess. She brings light and energy to the film. It's an alright film but could have been better.
Gus Van Sant's take on the last few days of Kurt Cobain's life. Not a documentary, but interesting and beautifully shot, nevertheless. A must see if you're a fan of Indie movies, Nirvana and/or Michael Pitt.
