Sproutstanding!  30,000-year-old frozen seeds flower, with scientists’ help.     Ice Age seeds frozen underneath layers of Siberian ice for more than 30,000 years have flowered again.    A team of Russian scientists is responsible for resurrecting the white flowers that sprung from the plant, Silene stenophylla. But they say that the crafty squirrel that buried the seeds in a riverbed during the Upper Pleistocene Age deserves thanks as well.
