Death by Living: Life Is Meant to Be Spent by N. D. Wilson,

Hoodwinked: Ten Myths Moms Believe and Why We All Need To Knock It Off by Karen Ehman

A wonderful true story of great faith and bravery ~ recounted by Elisabeth Elliot, the widow of one of the five U.S. missionaries who was slain by deep in the rainforest of Ecuador by Auca (meaning “savage”) tribesmen in the mid 1950’s. I read this book many times as a youngster and teen. Later on, I was lucky enough to meet the author herself and one of the “Auca Indians”, Dayuma, the first Waodani tribe convert to Christianity.
