Dress, ca. 1865-early 1870s. Two bodices, skirt, & petticoat, with skirt bag, hat, & sash. . . .buttons- loved playing in Grandma Hazel's button box. The Herkimer diamond, a round stamed coin for food during the War for Rations, strining them over and over ( who knew she cut them apart after we left so that we could match them again the next trip!!!)
