Kate was dressed in a Smythe jacket, blouse by Somerset by Temperley, and Zara jeans - antique Bohemian glass buttons from about 1910. They are new old stock from factories there that closed at the time of the First World War, and have been in the warehouses there ever since.

. . .buttons- loved playing in Grandma Hazel's button box. The Herkimer diamond, a round stamed coin for food during the War for Rations, strining them over and over ( who knew she cut them apart after we left so that we could match them again the next trip!!!)
