A blast from the past, Bombe Alaska was all the rage in the 70's but we think deliciousness never goes out of style, so here’s our 2021 version featuring the timeless combination of chocolate and raspberries.
Ingredients
Produce
• 3 Punnets fresh raspberries
Refrigerated
• 6 Egg whites, free range
• 3 Eggs, large free range
Baking & Spices
• 1 tbsp Caster sugar
• 405 g Castor sugar
• 2 tbsp Cocoa powder
• 1/2 tsp Cream of tartar
• 50 g Plain flour
• 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
Dairy
• 20 g Butter, unsalted
Frozen
• 1 Litre chocolate ice-cream
• 500 ml Raspberry sorbet
Beer, Wine & Liquor
• 1 tbsp Grand marnier
Liquids
• 200 ml Water
