Bird Beak Experiment

This is a great way to show students how different birds eat based on the type of beak they have. I first did this experiment when I worked at the Cincinnati Zoo. The blog includes great photos of birds with close ups on the beaks. It also has links to some printables to use.

I raised peacocks. They used to sit on top of the barn and call when anyone came down the road. Good watch "dogs."
