This is my idea of “health food". Simple roasted salmon paired with turnips, celery, and bulgur. Packed full of flavor, lots of good fats, and nicely balanced with lemon for tang, raisins for sweetness, and parsley for brightness. Boosting the health benefit of certain food pairs

Here's my meal plan feature in this month's Oxygen Magazine.  I approach my meal plan with an understanding that macro nutrients (protein/carbs/fats) are the building blocks of a solid diet. I NEVER count calories. I have a list of foods by macro nutrient that I like to eat, and are excellent sources of that macro. I then ensure I'm pairing protein + carbs at EVERY meal/snack, and add in health.

Does this sound remotely familiar??⬇⬇⬇ "I have spent most of my adult life seeking the perfect balance for my health.  Atkins  South Beach  Whole 30  Raw food  Vegetarian  Gluten free  Etc. Etc. My result was yoyo weight loss/gain, dumping lots of food, wasting money, spending WAY too long in the grocery store, prepping WAY too many meals, TOO much time cooking, time cleaning my kitchen, I was bored with options, frustrated on social occasions, and TOTALLY RESTRICTED in order to get results…
