Pedestal Dining table and chairs chalkpainted and refinished. I used DIY chalk paint in cream and gray and used stain as a glaze. Chair seats are covered with canvas drop cloth hand painted with grain sack stripe.
My husband and I acquired a dining set from some dear friends. We decided to revamp it. We painted the legs green and added a black glaze. The table has an edge of a special walnut stain, and the inside of the table is an antique white and then stenciled with a darker antique white (tone on tone) and then an umber glaze added to antique it even more. The chairs were painted the same antique white with umber glaze. Then recovered the seats with a red and cream toile. LOVE.

Carleton Sprague hard rock Maple Rocker and side table chalk painted with Sherwin Williams Tricorn Hat (Match to ASCP Graphite). After sanding and distressing, I did a coat of Minwax Ebony stain. Table top stained with Minwax special walnut and sealed with hand rubbed poly. Looks just like Pottery Barn black furniture. I got the chair for $20 and the table for $5 at Goodwill! #potterybarnknockoff #DIYchalkpaint #ascpgraphite
