Hungarian puzzle jug, c.1864. These tricky jugs came with a fun challenge - to drink without spilling the contents. (difficult, as the neck was perforated.) There was normally a hidden hole in the rim, from which the winner would suck the liquid, up and through the hollow handle, possibly closing off some other unwanted holes with fingertips.
I have a "thing" for cool coffee mugs. I said COOL, not corny or joke ones. I like to have a collection and choose a cup reflecting my mood that morning, or have a nice selection for others to choose from :)
