"Souls of the Trees" at the Spicewood Springs Branch Library was created as a carbon-neutral piece. #Artist Heather Carter calculated the amount of carbon that was emitted from the creation of this work, and planted two trees outside this library to absorb this carbon dioxide. In doing so, Carter hopes to inspire others to consider the environmental impact of their lifestyle and plant more #trees. #LibraryLovers Month #atxpublicart  #AIPP30 | Austin Art in Public Places Collection
