The very best Carrot Cake ever; hands down--I had a woman seek me out, teary-eyed, after having tasted it, telling me it was just like her grandmother's and she'd never had carrot cake like it since she'd passed away. I always give Susan Branch the credit; her books are amazing and this Carrot Cake is my favorite recipe from all of them-so, so good!
