I always maintain that a cross is a dramatic piece of jewellery. This one is high grade silver (unmarked and tested) and is gilded in gold. The pendant is 2 1/4 inches long by 1 3/4 inches wide. It is beautifully designed with emerals green flat cut pastes and had a pearl drop. The bubble back it typical of this period and the gold gilding has worn with centuries of wear.
