Concepts of monumental installations by artist David DiMichele, immortalized through his photographs in which he inserts humans to understand the gigantic scale of his creations. Some impressive models playing on the gigantism of perspectives and compositions with a beautiful work on the lighting. The final works of David DiMichele consist of photographs themselves, thoughts as an elevation of natural phenomena and perceptual experience.
"Slipstream Installation": Translating a 2D digital line drawing into 3D, this installation at the Bridge Gallery in NYC captures the dynamics of turbulence in a colored gradient of (what looks to be) Foamcore board. While this is an art installation rather that architecture, the interlocking technique could be used effectively in (for instance) a retail store. | Freeland Buck Architecture
