This is my tattoo, totally healed. He did white ink with a diluted pink around it to give the effect of being a fresh scar. It is my mothers handwriting, pieced together from various letters and cards to form a "signature" from her. My second memorial tattoo for her, and my favorite of all my tattoos so far. Done by mike at tribal tattoo in Crofton Maryland.
My mom passed away two and a half years ago. She used to send my brother and I cards whenever she went away on business trips and she’d sign every one the same way. I got this at Curious Tattoo in College Park, Maryland. Ryan did an amazing job reproducing my mom’s handwriting. I could not be happier with the way this turned out and I am excited to have a piece of her with me at all times.
fuckyeahtattoos: “Someday came suddenly” Done by Joe at Skin Ethics in Girard Ohio. I like this because my entire life I’ve been wishing for the future to come sooner. I’m finally where I want to be in life and it feels like it just happened overnight. It’s also the name of my favorite Attack Attack album.
It's the word 'Yahweh' written in the original Hebrew. Yahweh was considered the most sacred name of god in the Old Testament, only the high priests knew how to even pronounce the word. It was so sacred because it's not a word to describe God, it's His actual name. And now the name of my creator is written on His creation, like a signature. I got this done by Jim O'Rourke at Gen X Tattoos in Willoughby, Ohio on May 15, 2013
Hmmm...trying to get ideas to incorporate into a tattoo. I like this type of butterfly, but the coloring would be different (pink, blue, & lavender) to symbolize infertility awareness & Craniosynostosis awareness... Maybe w/ the words "Miracles Happen" or just Audrey's name...?
