The Maha Kumbh Mela is one of the oldest and largest fairs of India held in Uttar Pradesh after every twelve years. The fair is attended my millions of people all over the world. The bathing ceremony is the major part of this mela in which crowds gather to take a dip in the auspicious river Sangam in Allahabad.

On May 1, 2013, nearly 40 young people dressed in traditional Han Chinese clothing revived the ancient Chinese coming-of-age ceremony outside the Han Great Wall relics in Xi'an, the capital city of Shaanxi Province.
