Hudson's Bay Company calendar with painting of Thanadelthur, 1953. "... the Hudson's Bay Company commissioned a well-known Canadian artist, Franklin Arbuckle, to create a painting portraying the story of Thanadelthur. The painting was used to illustrate the HBC's 1953 calendar. Called "Ambassadress of Peace: A Chipewyan woman makes peace with the Crees, 1715," it showed Thanadelthur negotiating a peace between the Cree and Chipewyan people. The HBC had been producing calendars since 1913."
