One of my crafty bffs made this... so cute. 10$ 30x34 wall calendar. Pick up a large picture from a thrift store. Draw lines and days of the week on plain white paper. Then use dry erase markers on the glass to write #'s and month. Super easy and cheap!

mmm - http://interiors-designed.com These photos look like they use the elements of contrast and color more than the fibonacci spiral or the thirds rule. But the space it gives, instead of zooming in on a single object hints at cropped perfection.
