Nightjar: One of the best bars for ambiance I've ever come across. Dress, decor, music -- it all feels like you're in an old speakeasy. Cocktails run a little sweet to me, but the bartenders have some methodical, trancing moves that make it well worth it to sit up at the bar and enjoy. Open late, and almost always a queue (but that's because they won't let you in unless you have an actual seat -- so, plus!).

Colonial Williamsburg was one of my favorite places to visit with my parents. Once a year they had a conference in Williamsburg and we'd spend a day there pretending to live in a different time. I loved touring the old houses and native american camps. I even had a colonial themed birthday party.

Denver Bucket List: Check (had to go for a friends birthday-I still have nightmares about the food and restrooms..tee hee) Now in its 40th year, the eccentric 52,000-square-foot Casa Bonita Mexican restaurant is a Colorado landmark exuding a glittering chaos made up of a Mexican village, cliff divers, rooms outfitted in Edwardian furnishings, stalagmites, bubbling mud pots, strolling guitarists, haunted caves, arcades and a jail cell with rubber bars.
